Music at Grace Lutheran Church

Beginning Chimes is a musical group for children in 1st grade or above who are interested in learning to play handchimes. We will learn to play chimes and read music through the use of games and fun activities. Previous musical experience is not necessary. ;Beginning Chimes meets once each week for 30 minutes.

Grace Note Ringers is our advanced children's handchime group. This group is for children with previous experience ringing chimes. We work on improving our technique and learning new skills as we prepare music for the worship setting. Grace Note Ringers meets once a week for 45 minutes and is open to all elementary children with previous ringing experience.

Children's Choir is a vocal group open to all children in 1st through 6th grade. Children prepare songs for worship and improve their singing skills through the use of games and other activities. Orff instruments and chimes are also used as we sing. Children's Choir meets once a week for 45 minutes. Previous singing experience in not necessary.

The Youth Music Program is for students on 7th through 12th grade. The purpose of Youth Music is to provide opportunities for youth to be involved in worship here at Grace Lutheran. There is an emphasis on handbell ringing, with additional opportunities for drama and voice. Youth Music meets for one hour once a week and is open to all youth with or without musical experience.

Adult Bells is a handbell choir for all adult members of Grace Lutheran. Previous ringing experience in not necessary. Adult Bells meets once a week for 1 hour and prepares music for the worship setting.
