Pastor Armstrong's sermon is based on Mark 6:45-52.

“Jesus, the lonely One, who removes our aloneness”  (Mark 6:45-52)

I.  During His earthly ministry, Jesus was ___________ in the world (Isaiah 53:3; John 1:10-11; Luke 2:48-49; Mark 3:21; Matthew 12:24; 26:39-40; 27:46).

A. His opponents ______________ Him (3:5).

B. His ______________ are no better (v.52).

1. He feeds the multitude in desolate places (6:42; see Exodus 16:18; 24:11).

2. He makes a way through the sea and “passes by” the disciples (vv.48-49; see Job 9:8-11; Psalm 77:19; Exodus 33:19-23; 1 Kings 19:11).

3. Yet hardness of heart and unbelief persists (v.52; 8:17-18).

II.  We experience _____________________.

III. Jesus removes His aloneness and ours by seeking fellowship:

1. As Adam’s deep sleep resulted in his bride, Eve, so Christ’s “sleep” of death resulted His bride, the church (Genesis 2:18-24; Ephesians 5:25-32).
